Collaborating to make things better

So, what else is on the horizon? Its now the age of collaboration and more and more people are talking about it and finding ways to do it. Recently I was invited to join a group of innovative women in a quest to offer many services through one group. To me, that's the way forward. I also recently saw a young man advertising a five year plan to get 100 people investing in a plan to collectively make a huge investment. Unfortunately he had a website advertised but when I checked it out, it had been been established yet. Just last week a group of three persons pulled off a very successful Bridal Show, showing what collaborations can do. In September another group of persons are planning a Women's Expo in Freeport - which they hope will become an annual. Collaborations seems to be the way forward and seems to be bringing more of a community feel to a Freeport that many said has no soul. The more good news you get the more comes. So what's going on in Grand Bahama at present? Let's see. Down town the construction for the new Wendy's is on its way. But Sir Jack Hayward announced the months ago and we carried that on this blog. We told you about Entwined opening in our last post and now there is word that the old Pub on the Mall will be reopened with a new/old concept …. a Bahamian review. I just had to look back at the old days of the Pub… (Thanks to oldbahamas.com we can see some of the old places again) So we are now putting more into the night life of Freeport once again. This is to also add to the Q Corporate Lounge on Logwood Road across from Dolly Madison which is offering the mature audiences a place to go to hang out and have fun on the weekends.
