I would like to thank all those persons who took the time to comment on my blog. To Tristan Lockhart, sorry that I didn't add that the tax concessions and other taxes would expire in 2015, and I like the comment you made about the fact that the Hawksbill Creek Agreement was amended in 1993 and how it can be amended. Going forward we need to look at what we can do. Kudos again to  LaReina DelMundo Sharez  who commented: "We have vocational training in our public high schools, but not many industries, especially technical ones to place all of our students in after they leave school. Here in Freeport the GBPA is supposed attract investments in industry for the city of Freeport. Not much has happened in that department - taxes after the incentive period is over, high electricity costs, high landing fees (that they directly control) have all scared potentials away. If scholarships are especially provided for students interested in specialty fields along with sure internships ...

In previous posts I have asked the question, what is your passion? I'm looking again at the passion and focus of everyone that is termed a success. So I was listening to a motivational speaker - Anthony Robbins who said something that made me think. His words were: You need to understand the needs,  beliefs and emotions that are controlling you  so that you can give more of yourself and appreciate what changes other people. This is important when thinking of starting a business because it cannot be just about you making money, although it may be the goal; but you need to be able to serve someone else for your idea to be successful. The late Zig Zigler always said you can get what you want as long as you help other people get what they want. The great garage businesses that are talked about are:  Amazon, Apple, Disney, Google, Harley Davidson, HP, Mattel, Microsoft, Dell and Nike.
