Action!

Back in action with the new programme to help, I was reading "Before 5am" a page I subscribe to on Instagram and it had a message that said, "Inspiration+Motivation=Action. Just was was needed as I began this journey to help others... as Zig Zigler says, you can get what you want if you help enough people get what they want. What did the article say? It stated that we all have moments of inspiration and for may of us it can even occur numerous times throughout the day. But, it said, most people never act on their moments of inspiration; that those great ideas and solutions and products just go to the grave with them or these persons later see someone else acting on those ideas. The article said we do not act on our inspiration because we have no reason to act, that there was no desperation to move. However it said, when you put Inspiration with Motivation then we are moved to action and we hear stories of rags to riches or people

 Flipping Grand Bahama has been around for some two years now and we are now about to take it up a notch. We are starting a programme to help small businesses find necessary funding for some of their great projects. We have advocated over and over that people become entrepreneurs as a way to make Grand Bahama better. We say stop waiting to be rescued and just rescue yourself. As many, even I would say sometimes, but the funds are not there. I have checked out FSI and found the various ways to getting funding but I wanted to have even more fun with the idea. There is the thought of crowd funding and then there is another way of making a statement while helping others. For that statement we have ordered T-shirts that we are hoping our readers purchase online from which the proceeds will go toward assisting persons with viable business plans and ideas for a business in Grand Bahama. Of course we dont expect to be handing out millions at first (that comes later) but we do hope

This past month the Grand Bahama Chamber of Commerce hosted its 1st Vice President Dillion Knowles spoke about " Does the Hawksbill Creek Agreement Matter?", will touch on the effectiveness of the the Hawksbill Creek Agreement in 2015 and how it will impact future business in Freeport.
