Gratitude

The law of attraction says you call into your life whatever your think about. If you are always second guessing yourself and your projects they have no where to go. But, if you use your determination and passion to go forward, thinking of the good results you can experience that good.

Your bliss that turns into a garage idea can move into offering jobs for others. But your have to do as instructed by The Bible, "believe".

Looking around Grand Bahama from 2010 til now I can see and hear that there is an unrest about the way things are and what they have been. While it is good to see where you came from, its not profitable to remain in the past. Using it as a guideline we forge forward.

I questioned before, what are you thoughts on pushing forward after the Hawksbill Creek Agreement is finished? So far there has been no response other than to say how it can be amended.

But there is a lot to be explored. Have you sat and thought of what is lacking in Freeport and how to bring it here or get it back?

Hats off to the new business owners who are bringing back some of the old entertainment and night life that many talk about when they talk of the good ole days of Freeport.

What we didn't have the but we have lots of now are photographers to recall the days we are presently making and thats great.

Talking with my daughter the other day about the congestion of vehicles going to events in the Port Lucaya/Grand Lucayan area we came up with an idea for a valet service that may be profitable for the persons who dares to take it on.

Some ideas are not your own to follow through. Sometimes they are for you to pass on - for pay or just for fun - depending on you.

What else is there that you can think of that can remedy a situation?

In the words of Zig Zigler, "you can get what you want as long as you help other people get what they want", and for most businesses you are providing solutions to problems.

A solution for persons needing an office space to operate a business in Freeport at a fraction of the overhead cost is the shared space call Immerse. Great opportunity and readily accepted. There are other spaces I'm sure if you ask around. It's a win/win situation.

More car washes are popping up and still really more needed. It's a great service and can build a great business.

Also popping up more and more these days are pyramid schemes. For some, working them hard do result in great profits.

I was listening recently to the audio book "The Richest Man in Babylon" written by George Samuel Clason which tells people how to get rich while getting out of debt and I found it fascinating and a "scheme" that work even now.

Basic principal - add up all your debts, then look at your income and determine to first save 10% of your earnings, live off twenty percent and use the other 70% to pay off your debt. After a point in time, the book encourages you to use your savings to invest in something profitable, but cautions that you should never enter a venture that you know nothing about.

With the talk so much debt in Freeport, maybe that would be a goo place to start today.

And if its a "job" you are looking for searching within yourself for that occupation that makes you happiest and follow it. Your gift will provide for you.

But in all things do not forget to be grateful. It's your gratitude for the small things that bring the big things.

I'm grateful for all my readers and those persons that I am be able to help through this blog. I'm grateful for the feedback and continuing conversations. We are all landing on the same page ... to make Grand Bahama better. Together we can and we will.
