Buy a Tshirt to help the economy
Flipping Grand Bahama has been around for some two years now and we are now about to take it up a notch.
We are starting a programme to help small businesses find necessary funding for some of their great projects.
We have advocated over and over that people become entrepreneurs as a way to make Grand Bahama better. We say stop waiting to be rescued and just rescue yourself.
As many, even I would say sometimes, but the funds are not there. I have checked out FSI and found the various ways to getting funding but I wanted to have even more fun with the idea.
There is the thought of crowd funding and then there is another way of making a statement while helping others.
For that statement we have ordered T-shirts that we are hoping our readers purchase online from which the proceeds will go toward assisting persons with viable business plans and ideas for a business in Grand Bahama.
Of course we dont expect to be handing out millions at first (that comes later) but we do hope to be a little breeze that fans the flames to make the fire even bigger.
