Your future is waiting
I was looking at the ad for r.shopify.com on Facebook and this this great title. I loved it and it went well with listening to George Clason's "The Richest Man in Babylon".
Very interesting listening as it recalls that Babylon may be known for its riches in years later, that there was a time when it was not rich.
Like Grand Bahama I presume it may have had times of great potential but very little going on.
Several stories are told of how to make money.
Now what does that have to do with Flipping Grand Bahama?
Well of course, to help its residents and residents to come and to bring more investors to create more opportunities for smaller businesses.
What did I learn?
Well the three most important bits were:
1. A part of all your earn is yours to keep
2. Make your money your slave
3. Invest with caution.
It was noted by Clason that in keeping the thought to keep part of your earnings, that you keep no less than ten person. The theory is that you use 90% to take care of bills, food, clothing, etc. But to put away 10% each pay period and when it has reached a certain amount, use those funds for investing.
That is how you get to part two: the make money your slave.
That money is to be used to make more money. To invest in something or something that has a good yield. A business that is sure to yield great profits and make your more money. The story says to have your money multiply and their children and children's children to continue to multiply to earn you more money.
The third however says, the invest with caution as you should always consult with an expert on how to invest and not accept advice from just anyone. A contractor should not be asked about jewelry as that is not his business.
In Grand Bahama, everyone has a gift given by God on their arrival into this world and we each have to find out what that is. Using these gifts helps us to earn the living that is required but also with wisdom to help us to make even more and by so doing to change our lives, the lives of our families and the life of the island.
